Happy reading and relaxing, your tree sounds gorgeous. I love Sweet November!

  3. Come on. You can try a picture. I know you can. 🙂

  4. Love periwinkle! Wouldn’t be caught dead eating oxtails! LOLOL

  5. I echo your thoughts on Robert Downey, Jr. 🙂

  6. Kailana says:

Oh, audiobooks count for the chunkster this year? hm… I am more likely to do that than read lately.

  7. Megan says:

Your tree sounds really pretty. I hope you’ll try taking that picture – even if it’s only *half* decent. 😉 How is The Story of a Happy Marriage? I’m always game for a book by Ann Patchett!

  8. Deb Nance says:

I’m hoping to read Happy Marriage today. Hope I don’t have to un-read it!

  9. Christmas trees are so hard to photograph but yours sounds gorgeous!

  10. Good luck with the Chunkster Challenge. The thickest book I have right now is The Signature of All Things, over 500 pages, on Kindle. Isn’t Ch ristmas music relaxing? Have a great reading week.

  11. iliana says:

I’d love to see a picture of your tree – sounds so pretty! Oh chunksters… I have several and this would be the perfect way to tackle them. Let me think about it and I may join in!

  12. joyweesemoll says:

I read more than half of The Signature of All Things to finish it today. So maybe I’m more of a candidate for the chunkster challenge than I thought.

  13. heidenkind says:

I’m drinking Prosecco (purely for research purposes 😉 and watching The Amazing Race. And I’m currently reading The Perilous Life of Jade Yeo, but I’m not wild about it.

  14. You had my attention at Ox Tails and rice…. now I need to go look that up…. 🙂

  15. Your tree sounds beautiful! Iron Man 3 is excellent, I think — markedly better than Iron Man 2, and I especially love it that it addresses the fact that people who have gone through serious trauma would experience the aftereffects of trauma, even if they are superheroes. Hooray for truth in Hollywood! :p

  16. Time: // 10:08am Monday

  18. I read a few chunksters this year and I forgot how fun they are! I will have to think about joining (and see what chunksters I have on my shelf that I could read).

  19. Beth F says:

Sounds like it was a lovely Sunday. Chunksters? I always listen to a few … I’ll think about it.

  20. kay says:

    Your Christmas tree sounds gorgeous!
I do agree about Robert Downey Jr, though I have yet to see the second Sherlock Holmes!

  21. Athira says:

I need to read more chunksters. I tend to avoid them like the plague because of how long it takes to finish one.

  22. Bree @The Things We Read says:

Ahhh Robert Downey Jr. Delicious man.
