Instead of blogging, I’m . . .

Watching this:

“When Harry Meets Sally”

Then I plan on watching this:

“Sleepless in Seattle”

If I can fit it in, I’ll watch “You’ve Got Mail”. I love Meg Ryan.

Tomorrow I’ll come back to my regular blogging schedule!

  1. When Harry Met Sally is one of my all time favorite movies!

  2. Anastasia says:

I am a sucker for Meg Ryan’s early rom coms! You’ve Got Mail is one of my favorites (mostly because of the NYC/book stuff, but also just because I love MR). French Kiss is probably my other favorite MR movie.

Oh! Oh! Have you seen One Fine Day? That’s a really good one, too, and it’s set in NYC as well. No Meg Ryan, but it DOES have Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney (and adorable kids).

  3. Jenny says:

But not French Kiss? I like Meg Ryan, and I like her the best of all in French Kiss. But Harry Met Sally is pretty awesome too.

  4. Care says:

All good. I can watch all of these over and over. AND French Kiss. And Simply Irresistible which no one has ever seen. (Sarah Michelle Gellar,1999)

I’m watching all the Project Runways I’ve missed plus tonight’s episode.

  5. Carrie K. says:

Three of my absolute favorite movies!

  6. zibilee says:

Can you believe that I have never seen any of these movies before?!? It seems almost impossible, even to me! Enjoy your Meg Ryan film festival!

  7. kay says:

Ooh what a great idea! I haven’t seen these in ages. Must watch soon again!

  8. Kailana says:

I love When Harry Met Sally. It’s a great movie!

  9. Samantha says:

Sounds like the perfect way to spend the day. I spent most of Friday night just catching up on television shows and relaxing 🙂

  10. Aths says:

I just love love love meg ryan!! All three are favorite movies of mine!

  11. Nymeth says:

Enjoy, Vasilly! I should rewatch those movies one of these days, as I haven’t seen any of them in years.

  12. bookworm says:

I’m a fan of Meg Ryan films myself, I like all three of these. Especially You’ve Got Mail 🙂 Enjoy!

  13. What a great line-up. Great comfort viewing!

  14. Ash says:

Last spring I wrote a blog post on how much I love Meg Ryan! I watched the movies in a very similar order. Probably my three all time faves.

  15. Trish says:

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE both of these movies. Actually, all day yesterday I had the song “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” stuck in my head. And now it’s there again. Tomato, Tomatoe, Tomato, Tomatoe… 😉

  16. Bree says:

Those are my go-to movies too. I can watch them over and over. I love Meg Ryan too. Actually I named my daughter after her. I wish she would do more movies where she is sweet, adorable and quirky like in these movies.

    • Vasilly says:

Yes! I definitely agree. I wish she would also lay off the plastic surgery. Certain movies she’s appeared in leave me staring at her lips the whole time. 😉

I can’t believe I’ve come across your post 2 years late but I definitely agree with you on this one.

I love Meg in Sleepless, and in When Harry Met Sally, and many other roles (Prelude to a Kiss, Addicted to Love, Flesh and Bone…) Meg and Tom were also both fantastic in Joe vs. The Volcano. That is such an underrated classic. And I absolutely love You’ve Got Mail…the last really good Meg Ryan flick in my opinion.
Outside of my youthful crush on Michelle Pfeiffer, Meg was my first and I’ll always love her even though she hasn’t aged gracefully and has made bad film choices of late. I’m in the mood for a Meg fest now…might even do it this weekend.
